Our associated group company was established as our de facto CSI vehicle. As part of the Aqua4life Holdings Group, AWE (Africa Women Enterprises Pty Ltd), invests in technology that will uplift and restore dignity to rural and poorer communities.
Africa Women Enterprises (AWE) is a Business for Good in Africa. Through investment, development aid and funding, AWE will empower the most vulnerable members of our societies so that they will be able to sustain themselves with dignity a long way into the future.
Vision
Africa Women Enterprises (AWE) will use current and future technologies to disrupt, challenge and enhance the status quo of life for the women and children of communities across the African continent. Through a highly effective and professional all-woman team, these technologies will be introduced and implemented through training programmes on-site, with ongoing training, monitoring and evaluation thereafter to ensure complete self-sufficiency. A vast improvement in the quality of life will be noticed within an acceptable period of time (approximately three to five years).
This Company has been established as an operational Venture Capital Investment Company to effect projects in line with its vision via The Africa Women Enterprises Foundation (to be incorporated). The main Venture Capital focus is to be a vehicle for investors to participate in new technologies, utilising proprietary, South African-developed 3D Cement Printing technology, International Award-Winning Solar and Wind Powered Water Filtration processes and the latest Biomass Energy Generation technology to convert organic material (specifically) to generate electricity in areas where there is no or intermittent supply of electricity. Building one house per day, with integral flushing toilets and other sanitary grey water components, adjacent potable water filtration units and power generating, garbage elimination solutions, AWE will take communities into positions where their members can regain their dignity and become self-sufficient. AWE will be a conduit between investors and innovation in the water and power-generating sector and the newest technologies in the building sector, and any sectors to which these technologies can be applied, around which communities can be built and benefit.
